AMATYC's Vision: To be the leading voice and resource for excellence in mathematics education in the first two years of college. AMATYC's Core Values (MAY 2006) represent core priorities, traits, or qualities in the organization's culture that are considered worthwhile. They are timeless and unchanging.

One such core value is Professional Development, which is an integral part of the AMATYC mission. "To provide high quality professional development, to advocate and collaborate at all levels, and to build communities of learners for all involved in mathematics education in the first two years of college."  An AMATYC Webinar is a worthwhile form of Professional Development that can be done from the comfort of your office or home. From a group of faculty members to an individual, webinars can provide that connection to those around us and to faculty around the world. A chance to share, to discuss, and to learn.

If you would like more information or have questions about presenting an AMATYC Webinar, email Kelly Spoon at webinarcoordinator@amatyc.org. If you have a great webinar idea and are ready to share, please submit your idea using the webinar proposal form and the webinar coordinator will be in contact with you soon.
