Students cannot register for the SML or serve as the moderator.

Testing Dates:
Round 1 = October 30, 2026 to November 13, 2026
Round 2 = February 26, 2027 to March 12, 2027

Note:  All fees are due by October 31, 2026.  You cannot receive Round 2 materials if your fee is not paid.  The $15 late fee is applied to all registrations after 9/30/2026

Non-Institutional Members $35

If your college is an institutional member, sign into the website with the institutional login before registering in order to register at the no-fee registration option. 

Your college does not have to be an institutional member to participate. If your college is not an institutional member, select the "Institutional Non-Member (SML Regular) - $35" option from the drop-down menu. An individual cannot register for the competition.
