Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

November 19 - 22, 2026

Call for Presenters and Presiders

Use the form below to submit your application to present and/or preside.  The deadline for submission is February 15, 2026.  Late proposals will not be accepted.

Presenter Information

I need to submit information for other presenters.  Is there an easy way to do that?

Yes! Download and use this Presenter Information Template to collect the information you'll need from other presenters.  Once complete, you can copy and paste the information on the form below.

Will all presenters be included in the conference program?

Any AMATYC presenters must be registered for the full conference to be included in the conference program.

How can I make a change to the presenters I submitted?

Contact programcoordinator@amatyc.org with the change requests.  Note that additional presenters may not be added or substituted after proposal submission without the recommendation of the Program Coordinator.

Presentation Information

Can presentations include information on products that I am using in my class?

We appreciate that you want to share your love for the products you are using.  If a product is free for everyone to access and use, you are welcome to share information in your session; however, presentations must not promote or sell a commercially available product or service. Please avoid using the proper name of a commercial product in your session or workshop title.

Please see this document for more information on what constitutes a commercial product.

If I submit a proposal for a specific format (ex: 2-hour workshop), am I guaranteed to get that format?

The proposal form will ask for a time breakdown of what you expect to cover in your session.  Depending on reviewer feedback, your session format may differ from the one selected in this submission process.

How do I know which program keys to choose?

To ensure creation of a balanced program, you will be asked to choose up to two AMATYC Program Keys that best align with your proposal. When developing your presentation and selecting program keys, consider the four pillars of IMPACT

You can learn more about program keys below.

Equipment Information

As required by the conference venue, presenters should not affix materials (e.g. Post-Its, push pins, taped pages, etc.) to walls in or around the presentation room.

What equipment should I expect in the presentation room?

Your presentation room at the conference comes supplied with a computer projector (HDMI connection) and audio interface for the amplification of sound from videos or other apps.  If your laptop does not have an HDMI connection, you will need to bring an adapter. All rooms seating over 75 are equipped with a microphone for vocal amplification.

No additional equipment will be in the room on the day of your presentation. AMATYC is unable to provide equipment outside of the projector/audio interface.  This includes cables, laptop computers, overhead projectors, document cameras, but is not limited to, calculators, calculator view screens, software, smart boards, or any other type of equipment.

You may request a hardwired internet connection for presenter-use only; however, an explanation of use will need to be provided.  Internet access for attendees is not guaranteed.

This is a blind review process and the title, summary, and description should not include the name(s) of the presenter(s).

How will my proposal be reviewed?

Proposals are reviewed and rated by the Program Committee and take into account:

  • Evidence of effectiveness of teaching strategies, materials or ideas to be shared.
  • Appropriateness for mathematics educators, including the extent to which faculty may use the information after the conference
  • Presentations that model a variety of instructional strategies (e.g. group learning, discovery methods, active learning), interactive uses of technology, or other methods that actively involve the audience.
