The AMATYC Foundation is committed to promoting and supporting the purposes, goals, and projects of AMATYC. It was established by the AMATYC Executive Board in October 1990, incorporated in 1993, became a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt entity in October 1995. In 2004 the Foundation became an integral part of AMATYC.

AMATYC is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation, and donations to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
