    At this site you will find various mathematical and historical topics, in many cases matched with biographical sketches. You'll also find mathematical topics including triangle geometry and number theory.

    Erol Barbut's Emmy Noether page includes her biography, a chronology, her accomplishments, and an interactive lession.
  6. Euler  (new)
    Professor C. Edward Sandifer's "Euler Project," a project set out to translate Euler's original work from Latin to English. (See also Euler 2007 , a conference to be held August 4 - 7, 2002, but a great souce of historical information.)  
  7. British Society for the History of Mathematics
    The aims of the British Society for the History of Mathematics are to promote research into the history of mathematics and its use at all levels of mathematics education. It does this through meetings, a newsletter and by other means. The BSHM takes in all periods and civilizations, and all aspects of mathematics, both pure and applied. Members come from a broad cross-section of those interested in mathematics, its history and education, and from many countries.

    The History of Mathematics archive contains the biographies of more than 1100 mathematicians. There is also a collection of more than 60 articles on Famous Curves which have been extensively studied by mathematicians, giving their history as well as pictures of the curves and various curves (evolutes, inverses, caustics etc.) which are associated with them. There is even a Mathematicians of the day page which contains details of the mathematicians who were born or died on today's date.
