AAR/EEO Affirmative Action Register: The national EEO recruitment publication is directed to females, minorities, veterans, and disabled as well as to all employment candidates.

Community College Web: This site includes home pages of community colleges and is useful in that additional information on specific job openings is often listed on the home page of the community college where the opening occurs.

411Jobs Network a directory of employers who post jobs online, employment agencies, job banks and career resources that serve every state and nearly 100 cities across the US.

Higher Ed Jobs Online: Higher Ed Jobs Online is a free service both to candidates searching for positions and to institutions posting positions.

Try HIRE-ED, which lists jobs in higher education.

Try a Yahoo search, with these topics: job employment higher education community college. Click on the underlined keywords to do this automatically.

JobNext Career Network: Provides job search, resume and job posting services.

Job Openings: Available free to Chronicle of Higher Education subscribers through Academe Today, which also offers the full text of The Chronicle, a searchable archive, daily news updates, and more. If you are not a subscriber, but wish to purchase a subscription, you can subscribe on line.

The following sites are for job searching outside of academia.

CareerMosaic maintains career postings and allows you to post your resume. You can do similar things at E-Span.

CareerPath compiles want ads from nine city newspapers across the United States.

JobCenter costs job listings and resume posting at $20 for 6 months. They can e-mail you anytime a new job listing appears that matches your criteria.

IntelliMatch is another service designed to match resumes with employers, mostly in technology- and business-related firms, and is free.
