Presentation Information

Title of Presentation  (LIMITED TO 70 CHARACTERS, INCLUDING SPACES):


50-Word summary of your presentation for the program. Use 2nd or 3rd person grammar—do not use "I" or "we" in your description. This is the only information that will be printed in the program book to describe your presentation, so be descriptive but concise. Use complete sentences. Do not exceed 50 words.


List the primary content category or categories you believe describe your presentation. (Example: Teacher Preparation, Statistics, Calculus, Developmental Math, Teaching with Technology, etc.)


Brief description of presentation style:  AMATYC encourages presentations that model alternative instructional strategies (e.g. group learning, discovery methods, active learning), interactive uses of technology, or other methods that actively involve the audience.


Proposals are reviewed by AMATYC’s Program Committee. So, please describe your presentation so that the Program Committee can accurately understand the scope and nature of your presentation. This description will not be published. It is for the committee’s use only. (500 Word Maximum) You may copy and paste this information from a word processor or enter it directly into the box below.

Conference sessions and workshops are identified by a program key consisting of several different categories. Many presentations fall within multiple categories. In addition to these categories many additional topics are offered. Therefore, "General Interest" will include a wide diversity of topics.
