The 2006 AMATYC Conference hotels will be the Hyatt Regency Hotel Cincinnati and the Millennium Hotel Cincinnati.

By prior arrangement with the hotel, the special conference rate for guest rooms will apply three (3) days before and after the “official dates” of the conference. This offer is based on the availability of group rooms over the requested dates. The “official dates” of the 2006 AMATYC conference are Thursday, November 2, through Sunday, November 5.

The Hyatt Regency Hotel Cincinnati and the Millennium Hotel Cincinnati will hold the AMATYC block of rooms until October 11, 2006, or until AMATYC’s room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Any unreserved rooms in the block will be released to the general public for sale after this date. So make your reservation early. Be sure to mention that you are attending the AMATYC conference when you make your reservation.

All hotel rooms must have a deposit in the amount of the first night’s room and tax by October 11, 2006. All reservations held by credit card will be charged one night’s deposit on October 11, 2006. If you do not check into the hotel on the first night of your reservation, your deposit will be forfeited and your reservation will be canceled. If you cancel your reservation after October 11, 2006, your deposit will be forfeited.

Roommate Service

Those wishing to share a room with one, two, or three other conference attendees should send an email to Linda Kodama at Lkodama@hawaii.edu no later than September 15, 2006. Your email should include your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, room type (non-smoking or smoking), and desired hotel (Hyatt Regency Hotel Cincinnati or Millennium Hotel Cincinnati), arrival and departure dates. You may also complete the online Roommate Network form. You will be notified of your roommate assignment as soon as it becomes available. Note: The roommate service does not make hotel reservations!
