AN INVITATION FOR YOUR NOMINATION
The Continuing Search for Excellence

The President of AMATYC has a number of roles and
responsibilities. One of the best of these is to be part of the
recognition of our colleagues for excellence in the area on which we
are all focused – teaching. At the 2013 AMATYC Annual Conference in
Anaheim, I will announce the awardees for the AMATYC Teaching
Excellence Award. The number of awards presented is a function of the
number of nominations received, so I would like to encourage you to
nominate a colleague or yourself for the 2013 TE Award. |
Nominations will be reviewed by a committee chaired by AMATYC President-Elect – Nancy J. Sattler (nsattler@terra.edu). Members of the committee are representatives from each of AMATYC’s eight regions. They include:
Northeast – Florence Chambers (fdchamb@maine.rr.com),
Mid-Atlantic – Diane Benner (dlbenner@hacc.edu),
Southeast – Martha Goshaw (mgoshaw@aol.com),
Midwest – Michelle Younker (myounker@terra.edu),
Central – Carol L. Tracy (cltracy@highlandcc.edu),
Southwest – Mary Robinson (maryrobn@unm.edu),
Northwest – Margaret (Peg) Balachowski (mbalachowski@everettcc.edu), and
