| The 39th Annual AMATYC Conference begins on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the headquarters hotel, the Anaheim Marriott, located at 700 West Convention Way, Anaheim, CA. A block of guest rooms at reduced rates has been reserved at the Anaheim Marriott until October 9, 2013, or until AMATYC’s room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Any unreserved rooms in the block will be released for sale to the general public after this date. AMATYC members have purchased all available rooms the past few years, so make your reservations early! Be sure to mention that you are attending the AMATYC Conference if making your reservation by phone. Reservations can be made at the link on the AMATYC website, the link listed above, or by calling the hotel at the numbers listed below. AMATYC and the hotel would prefer you make your reservations online. All reservation requests will require a credit card guarantee to hold a guest room for individuals attending the conference 14 days after the room is confirmed by Marriott (but no later than October 9, 2013). All individual room reservations are required to pay one night’s lodging if the reservation is canceled less than 72 hours prior to arrival. Personal checks, money orders, or a valid major credit card and expiration date will be needed for the deposit. If you do not check into the hotel on the first night of your reservation, your deposit will be forfeited and your reservation canceled. If you find you must cancel your reservation, please make the cancellation at the earliest possible date to avoid losing your deposit. Name changes to room reservations may be made up to 3 days prior to arrival at no charge. In the event you check out of your guest room prior to the reserved checkout date, the Anaheim Marriott may add an early checkout fee to your account. You will be informed of this at check-in and can change your respective check-out date at the time of check-in, without charge. To help AMATYC keep your conference costs reasonable, be sure to mention that you are attending the AMATYC Conference when contacting the hotel. Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out for guests who fail to identify their affiliation at the time the reservation is requested.
